Pricing guide, Document Automation and E-Signature
What each PandaDoc plan includes, why Starter is a dead end for CRM teams, and how wide the gap between annual and monthly billing is.
The short answer
PandaDoc costs USD 19 to USD 49 per seat per month billed annually, or USD 35 to USD 65 billed monthly, with a free plan capped at 5 sends and quote-based Enterprise. A 10-seat team pays USD 2,280 a year on Starter or USD 5,880 on Business at list price, before add-ons.

PandaDoc sells document automation and e-signature per seat, with a free plan, two published paid plans and a quoted Enterprise tier. The spread between annual and monthly billing is unusually wide.
This guide uses figures from PandaDoc's own pricing guide and CostBench, which agree on the annual prices, and sets out what each plan can and cannot do.
Prices below were recorded on 17 October 2026. The headline figure is the lowest price you can get for that plan. Check the official page before you buy, because vendors change prices without notice.

How billing works
PandaDoc bills per seat per month, and the gap between annual and monthly is unusually wide. Starter is USD 19 annually against USD 35 monthly, and Business is USD 49 against USD 65, which PandaDoc describes as saving up to 46% on annual billing. CostBench reports that paid plans carry a one-year minimum commitment, that contracts do not auto-renew and that mid-term downgrades are not allowed, so the seat count you sign is the seat count you pay for all year. Seats added mid-contract are often priced at list and not at your negotiated rate. Add-ons sit on top. HubSpot External Automation is USD 39 per month per account on Business, the Salesforce integration carries an optional fee PandaDoc does not publish, and any payment you collect inside a document attracts the connected provider's processing fees.
The tier trap
Starter has no integration support and keeps the same 5-template cap as the free plan, so any team with a CRM, a quote to build or a payment to collect has to jump to Business at USD 49 per seat per month. That is 2.6 times the Starter price for what most sales teams would call the basics.
Read this first. The official pandadoc.com/pricing page could not be fetched, so prices come from PandaDoc's own pricing guide on its blog and from CostBench, which agree on USD 19 for Starter and USD 49 for Business billed annually. The monthly rates of USD 35 and USD 65 come from the PandaDoc blog guide only. The contract terms (one-year minimum, no auto-renewal, no mid-term downgrade, mid-term seats at list) are CostBench claims verified on 14 June 2026 and should be confirmed in your order form. Re-check the official page before you buy. No buyer-paid median was found for PandaDoc.

Pick it for occasional signature requests with no workflow around them: 5 sends a month, 2 recipients per document, 5 templates.
Pick it if a small team only needs unlimited signing and has no CRM to connect.
Pick it if sales quotes, routes for approval and collects payment, with CRM integrations and the Quote Builder.
Pick it if you need CPQ, SSO, team workspaces and notary controls, and accept a quote.
Our view
PandaDoc is a good fit for sales teams that quote and close inside documents, and Business is the plan most of them end up on. The mistake is buying Starter to save money and then paying for Business anyway. The other mistake is paying monthly when the annual rate is up to 46% lower.
You may be overpaying if
You hold seats for people who sent nothing in 90 days, you buy Business for staff who only need signing, or you pay monthly on a team that has not changed in a year.
Annual billing cuts Starter from USD 35 to USD 19 and Business from USD 65 to USD 49 per seat, which PandaDoc puts at up to 46%. On ten Business seats that is USD 1,920 a year.
PandaDoc bills per seat, and CostBench says downgrades are blocked mid-term. Count the people who actually sent a document in the last 90 days, not everyone with a login.
Only the people who build quotes and run approvals need Business. Recipients never need a seat at all, and occasional internal senders can sit on the free plan.
DocuSign Personal lists at USD 11 per user per month and Standard at USD 30. If signatures are the real requirement, that is a credible competing quote.
Proposify Basic is USD 19 and Team USD 41 per user per month, which brackets PandaDoc Starter and Business closely enough to be worth a side-by-side.
CostBench reports PandaDoc contracts do not auto-renew and cannot be downgraded mid-term, so renewal is the only moment you can cut seats. Put a reminder in 90 days ahead of the date.
Renewal email you can copy
Fill in the brackets and send it about 90 days before the renewal date. It works best next to your renewal tracker.

| Alternative | Starting price | Pick it when |
|---|---|---|
| DocuSign | USD11 per user per month (Personal, annual) | You only need signatures, not proposals, quoting or payment collection Read our Docusign pricing guide |
| Proposify | USD19 per user per month (Basic) | Your team sends proposals rather than contracts and wants a cheaper entry seat |
| Qwilr | USD35 per user per month (starting price) | You want interactive web-page proposals rather than PDF-style documents |
Seat counts drift as sales teams change. Because downgrades are blocked mid-term, the renewal date is the only reset you get each year.
Bottom line. Buy annually, put only quote builders on Business, and count real senders before renewal. Get the Salesforce fee and any add-ons itemized before you sign.
PandaDoc costs USD 19 per seat per month on Starter and USD 49 on Business when billed annually. Billed monthly those rise to USD 35 and USD 65. Enterprise is quoted by sales. There is also a free plan limited to five document sends a month and five templates.
Yes. PandaDoc Free allows 5 document sends per month, up to 2 recipients per document and up to 5 templates, with unlimited users and storage. It also includes a free API plan under the same limits. It is workable for very occasional signing, not for a sales team.
PandaDoc does not publish an Enterprise price, and it is quoted by sales. Enterprise adds CPQ and workflow automation, smart content, team workspaces, SSO, notary and enterprise controls on top of Business. Ask for the Salesforce integration fee and any add-ons itemized in the quote.
Yes. Annual billing is the largest published saving, up to 46% against monthly. Beyond that, discounts come from negotiating at renewal on a clean seat count. CostBench reports that contracts do not auto-renew, which gives you a genuine decision point each year.
Yes, and by an unusually wide margin. Starter drops from USD 35 to USD 19 per seat per month and Business from USD 65 to USD 49. For a ten-seat Business team that is USD 1,920 saved a year, so monthly billing is rarely worth the flexibility it buys.
DocuSign Personal at USD 11 per user per month is the cheapest mainstream alternative, though it caps you at 5 envelopes a month. Proposify Basic at USD 19 matches PandaDoc Starter on price while allowing proposals, and Qwilr starts at USD 35 per user per month.
