HubSpot Sales Hub pricing in 2026: Starter, Professional, Enterprise and the onboarding fees
Every published Sales Hub tier, the Core seat and Sales seat split, the one-time onboarding fees, and what Marketing Hub adds if you buy both.
The short answer
HubSpot Sales Hub costs USD 7 to USD 150 per seat per month on annual billing: Starter USD 7, Professional USD 90 and Enterprise USD 150, with a free tier for 2 users. Professional and Enterprise add one-time onboarding fees of USD 1,500 and USD 3,500. A 25-seat team pays USD 28,500 in year one on Professional at list price.
Cheapest paid optionSales Hub Starter at USD 7 per seat per month on annual billing, against USD 20 paid monthly.
What most sales teams needProfessional at USD 90 per seat, because sequences and forecasting start there.
Biggest hidden costThe mandatory one-time onboarding fees, USD 1,500 on Professional and USD 3,500 on Enterprise.
Best way to savePay annually, move light users to Core or free view-only seats, and ask for the onboarding fee to be waived.
HubSpot is easy to start and hard to budget. The per-seat prices are published and look gentle: free for two users, USD 7 a seat on Starter, USD 90 on Professional and USD 150 on Enterprise when you pay annually.
Then the quote arrives with a one-time onboarding fee, a seat type you did not know you had chosen, and a credit allowance that resets every month. This guide covers every published Sales Hub tier, the Core and Sales seat split documented in the product catalog, and what Marketing Hub adds.
Prices below were recorded on 17 October 2026. The headline figure is the lowest price you can get for that plan. Check the official page before you buy, because vendors change prices without notice.

How billing works
Two things decide a HubSpot invoice, and neither is the headline seat price. The first is the onboarding fee. Professional carries a mandatory one-time Professional Onboarding fee of USD 1,500 and Enterprise carries USD 3,500, both excluded from the per-seat prices on the page. Marketing Hub is higher: HubSpot's own pricing guide puts Marketing Hub Professional onboarding at USD 3,000 and Enterprise at USD 7,000. The second is the seat split. HubSpot separates Core seats from Sales seats. The product catalog lists Core seats at USD 20, USD 50 and USD 75 per seat per month for Starter, Professional and Enterprise, and Sales seats at USD 100 and USD 150 for Professional and Enterprise. View-only seats are free. Credits are the newer variable. Starter includes 500 HubSpot Credits, Professional 3,000 and Enterprise 5,000, they reset monthly, they do not roll over, and extra credits cost USD 0.010 each. Marketing Hub adds contact tiers, where HubSpot's guide notes that moving Professional from 2,000 to 5,000 marketing contacts adds roughly USD 250 a month.
The tier trap
Sequences and forecasting are the trap. Both start on Professional, which is a jump from USD 7 to USD 90 per seat per month on annual billing, and Professional also triggers the mandatory USD 1,500 onboarding fee. There is no middle tier to land on.
Read this first. One discrepancy to resolve. The Sales Hub pricing page shows Starter at USD 7 per seat per month alongside a USD 20 figure, positioned against the annual and monthly toggles, while HubSpot's product catalog lists the Starter Core seat at USD 20. This guide treats USD 7 as the annual rate and USD 20 as the monthly rate, as the page presents them, but confirm with HubSpot whether USD 7 is a standing annual price or an introductory rate. Marketing Hub figures (Starter USD 9 per seat, Professional USD 800 a month with a 3 Core seat minimum and USD 3,000 onboarding, Enterprise USD 3,600 a month with a 5 Core seat minimum and USD 7,000 onboarding) come from HubSpot's own pricing guide dated 14 September 2026 and not from the live page. No minimum seat count is published for any Sales Hub tier.

Where the bill grows
A HubSpot invoice is seats plus a one-time fee, a seat type split and a credit meter. These are the places it moves.
Mandatory onboarding fees
Professional adds a one-time USD 1,500 and Enterprise USD 3,500 on Sales Hub. On Marketing Hub, HubSpot's own guide puts the equivalents at USD 3,000 and USD 7,000.
Credits do not roll over
Included HubSpot Credits reset monthly and are lost if unused. Extra credits are USD 0.010 each, so AI-heavy months become a variable line on a fixed-price plan.
Core seats versus Sales seats
The product catalog prices Core seats at USD 20, USD 50 and USD 75 and Sales seats at USD 100 and USD 150 per month. Buying the wrong seat type for a role is a quiet, recurring overspend.
Marketing contact tiers
On Marketing Hub, contacts are a separate meter. HubSpot's guide notes that stepping Professional from 2,000 to 5,000 marketing contacts adds about USD 250 a month.
Minimum seat requirements on Marketing Hub
HubSpot's guide states Marketing Hub Professional requires 3 Core seats and Enterprise requires 5, so the entry cost is a multiple of the per-seat price.
Monthly billing premium
Paying monthly instead of annually costs USD 20 rather than USD 7 per seat on Starter and USD 100 rather than USD 90 on Professional.

Which HubSpot plan should you pick?
Free
Pick it if you are two people who need a shared contact record and nothing else yet.
Starter
Pick it if you need real pipelines, calling and basic automation on a small budget, and can live without sequences.
Professional
Pick it if sequences, forecasting or custom reporting are requirements. Budget the USD 1,500 onboarding fee into year one.
Enterprise
Pick it if you need forecasting across team hierarchies, conversation intelligence or deal journey analytics.
Our view
Starter at USD 7 per seat per month on annual billing is a strong entry CRM from a major vendor, and the free tier is usable for two people. Professional is where the math gets serious: nearly thirteen times the Starter price plus USD 1,500 onboarding. That is justified by sequences and forecasting, but only if your team will run them.
You may be overpaying if
You are on Professional for sequences nobody has built, you bought Sales seats for people who only need a Core seat, you pay monthly and not annually, or you sit on a Marketing Hub contact tier far above your active marketable audience.
How to pay less for HubSpot
Switch to annual billing
Starter drops from USD 20 to USD 7 per seat per month and Professional from USD 100 to USD 90. On 25 Professional seats that is USD 3,000 a year.
Right-size the seat type
Move users who only need records and reporting onto Core seats, and use the free view-only seats for stakeholders who just look.
Track credit consumption monthly
Credits reset and do not roll over. If you consistently use a fraction of the included pool, that is evidence against the next upgrade pitch.
Negotiate the onboarding fee into the deal
The USD 1,500 and USD 3,500 fees are listed as one-time charges on the pricing page, which makes them the most natural thing to ask to have waived at signature.
Clean marketing contacts before the renewal date
Marketing Hub bills by contact tier. Setting unengaged contacts to non-marketing before renewal keeps you on the lower tier.
Price the alternative properly
Pipedrive at USD 14 per seat per month and Zoho CRM Plus from USD 20 are credible comparisons when Professional is being bought for pipeline management alone.
Renewal email you can copy
Fill in the brackets and send it about 90 days before the renewal date. It works best next to your renewal tracker.
Subject: HubSpot renewal on [renewal date]

Our HubSpot [plan] subscription renews on [renewal date]. Over the last 90 days, [active sales seats] of the [paid sales seats] we pay for used it.
We would like to renew with [target sales seats] on a [term] term. Before we sign, please send:

Seat types, credits and contact tiers all drift. Compare active seats to licensed seats 90 days before renewal.
Count the users who log in. Sales, marketing and revenue operations often buy the same type of tool separately. Compare logins against paid seats before every renewal.
Calendar the renewal and notice window. Annual contracts for data and engagement tools often renew at a higher price. A renewal tracker keeps the date visible.
Check the data terms before you sign. Contact data brings privacy duties with it. Ask for the data processing terms during supplier onboarding, not after go-live.
Add the tool to your software spend view. Use a spend analysis template to see what go-to-market tools cost as a group.
Bottom line. Pay annually, match seat types to real roles, and ask for the onboarding fee to be waived. Check seats, credits and contact tiers against actual use 90 days before renewal.
HubSpot pricing questions
How much does HubSpot Sales Hub cost per seat?
On annual billing Sales Hub costs USD 7 per seat per month on Starter, USD 90 on Professional and USD 150 on Enterprise. Paid monthly, Starter is USD 20 and Professional is USD 100. HubSpot's product catalog also prices Core seats separately at USD 20, USD 50 and USD 75.
Is there a free version of HubSpot?
Yes. HubSpot's free CRM tools support up to 2 users with no credit card, and include one personal meeting link, 3 snippets, 3 email templates and 10 dashboards. HubSpot branding appears on your email and live chat on the free tier.
How much is HubSpot Enterprise?
Sales Hub Enterprise starts at USD 150 per seat per month and adds a one-time USD 3,500 onboarding fee. It includes 5,000 HubSpot Credits a month, 1,000 workflows, conversation intelligence and forecasting across team hierarchies. Marketing Hub Enterprise is priced separately.
Can you get a discount on HubSpot?

What is the cheapest alternative to HubSpot?
Pipedrive Lite at USD 14 per seat per month billed annually is the cheapest mainstream alternative with no onboarding fee. Zoho CRM Plus starts at USD 20 per user per month, and Salesforce Starter Suite is USD 25 per user per month with monthly billing available.
