Pricing guide, Work Management Software
Every Airtable plan in plain numbers, why edit access is the meter, and what the Team to Business jump costs.
The short answer
Airtable costs USD 20 per editor per month on Team and USD 45 on Business billed annually (USD 24 and USD 54 monthly), with a free plan and quote-based Enterprise Scale. A 20-editor team pays USD 4,800 a year on Team or USD 10,800 on Business at list price, while read-only users and form submitters are free.

Airtable usually arrives as one team's tracker and then becomes the place half the company keeps its data. List prices are public, but the bill depends on a detail most buyers miss: you pay for everyone with edit access to any base, and not for everyone who logs in.
This guide walks through Free, Team, Business and Enterprise Scale with prices checked against Airtable's official pricing and plans pages.
Prices below were recorded on 12 October 2026. The headline figure is the lowest price you can get for that plan. Check the official page before you buy, because vendors change prices without notice.

How billing works
On Team and Business, Airtable charges for every user who has edit permissions on at least one base in the workspace. Read-only collaborators, form submissions and share links are free. Users added partway through are prorated for the rest of the month on Team, or the billing cycle on Business and Enterprise Scale. Team is paid by card, while Business and Enterprise Scale bought through sales can be invoiced and paid by PO, ACH, wire or check. Annual billing is about 17% cheaper than monthly on both paid plans.
The tier trap
SAML SSO starts on Business, so a security policy that requires single sign-on takes you from USD 20 to USD 45 per editor on annual billing. That 125% jump also applies when a base outgrows Team's 50,000 record cap.
Read this first. Annual prices (USD 20 Team, USD 45 Business) were read on airtable.com/pricing. Monthly prices (USD 24, USD 54) and all plan limits come from Airtable's official plans help page. Neither page states automation run limits per paid plan or a Team trial length, so both are left out. SAML SSO on Business is from Airtable's SSO setup docs, not the pricing page. Renewal notice terms are not published.
Move the slider to see what each plan costs at your size. The figures use the list prices on this page and leave out tax, add-ons and any discount you negotiate.
Twenty editors shows the cost of an SSO requirement and of paying monthly.
| Scenario | Cost per year | Against the headline |
|---|---|---|
| Team, billed annually (20 editors) | USD4,800 | Headline price |
| IT requires SAML SSO, so Business annually (20 editors) | USD10,800 | +USD 6,000 |
| Business paid monthly instead of annually (20 editors) | USD12,960 | +USD 2,160 |

Pick it if up to 5 editors are testing Airtable and 1,000 records per base is enough.
Pick it if you need up to 50,000 records per base, timeline views and a year of history.
Pick it if IT requires SAML SSO, you need 125,000 records per base, or you want invoiced billing.
Pick it if Airtable runs across many departments and you need unlimited workspaces and org units.
Our view
Team is good value for groups that need a flexible database with forms and automations, at USD 20 per editor on annual billing. Business is worth it only when SSO, larger bases or invoiced billing are hard requirements, because it costs 125% more per editor.
You may be overpaying if
People who only view data have edit rights, you moved to Business only for one large base that could be archived or split, or a spreadsheet or tool you already own covers the use case.
Only editors are billable, so switch people who only view or comment to read-only before each billing cycle.
Form submissions are free, so collect input through forms instead of giving contributors edit access.
Annual billing is about 17% cheaper than monthly on Team and Business.
Clearing or splitting large bases can keep you under Team's 50,000 record limit.
Smartsheet and monday.com give you a competing per-seat number before renewal.

Bases get shared widely with edit rights because it is the easy default. Each of those rights is a billable seat, and nobody reviews them until renewal.
Bottom line. Start on Team, keep viewers read-only, and move to Business only when SSO, bigger bases or invoiced billing are hard requirements. Then review billable editors 90 days before renewal and fold stray workspaces into one contract.
Airtable Team costs USD 20 per editor per month billed annually or USD 24 billed monthly. Business costs USD 45 annually or USD 54 monthly. Only users with edit permissions are billed, and read-only collaborators and form submitters are free.
Yes. Airtable Free costs nothing and allows up to 5 editors, 1,000 records and 1GB of attachments per base, 1,000 API calls a month and 2 weeks of revision history.
Airtable does not publish Enterprise Scale pricing, and it is quoted by sales based on your scale. It adds unlimited org units, workspaces and bases and 25,000 AI credits per user per month, with invoiced billing.
Annual billing saves about 17% compared with monthly on Team and Business. Beyond that, the biggest saving is billing only real editors, since read-only users and form submitters are free. Enterprise Scale terms are negotiated with sales.
Yes. Team drops from USD 24 to USD 20 per editor per month and Business from USD 54 to USD 45, about 17% less. For 20 editors on Business that is USD 2,160 a year.
Smartsheet Pro and monday.com Basic both list at USD 9 per user per month on annual billing, though monday.com requires at least 3 seats. Notion Plus at USD 10 per member suits teams that mainly need docs with light databases.
