Jotform plans and prices
Jotform is usually bought by one person on one card, then copied by the next team that needs a form. The price per account looks small, but limits on submissions, payments and storage decide which tier you need, and HIPAA decides it for anyone handling health data.
This guide lays out each plan, the limits behind it and where the bill quietly grows.

How billing works
Jotform bills per account and not per seat, and every limit (forms, submissions, views, storage, payment and signature counts) is an account-wide monthly cap. Starter through Gold are single-user accounts, so a second department usually means a second subscription or a move to Enterprise. You can switch between monthly and yearly and upgrade or downgrade at any time with prorated charges, and paid plans carry a 30-day money-back guarantee.
The tier trap
HIPAA compliance is only available on Gold and Enterprise. Any clinic, therapist or benefits team collecting health data jumps from USD 34 to USD 99 a month on annual billing.
Read this first. Jotform's official page did not show its price table when we fetched it, so plan prices and limits come from 2026 third-party sources (FormNX, eLearning Industry and ITQlick agree). The official page text also says "Paid plans start at USD 19 per month", which conflicts with the USD 34 Bronze price, so check the live page. The Microsoft Forms entry price was not verified as a standalone figure.

Which Jotform plan should you pick?
Starter
Pick it if you run five or fewer forms and stay under 100 submissions a month.
Bronze
Pick it if one owner runs up to 25 forms and about 1,000 submissions a month.
Silver
Pick it if you need 2,500 submissions, 10 GB of uploads and more payment forms.
Gold
Pick it if you handle health information and need HIPAA, or run up to 10,000 submissions a month.
Our view
Jotform is fair value for a single team that needs many form types, payments and e-signatures in one tool, and Silver is the sweet spot on price per submission. It gets expensive when several departments each buy their own single-user account, or when HIPAA pushes a small team to Gold.
You may be overpaying if
You pay monthly for a plan you have used for over a year, several departments hold separate Jotform accounts, or you are on Gold only for storage you never fill.

Annual billing takes Silver from USD 49 to USD 39 and Gold from USD 129 to USD 99 per month.
Claim the nonprofit and education rate
Jotform gives eligible nonprofits and schools 50 percent off Bronze, Silver and Gold, and 30 percent off Enterprise.

Keeping Jotform spend under control
Form builders spread by copy. One team makes a form, the next asks how, and soon a company has eight accounts on eight cards, none of them under a shared plan.
- Track who holds a seat. Keep one list of paid seats, their owners and the date each was last used. Our guide to vendor management shows how to set that up.
- Put renewals on a calendar. Log every renewal date and notice period in a contract renewal tracker so nobody finds out after the term rolls over.
- Route new buys through one request. Cards and expense claims hide duplicate subscriptions. A short purchase requisition step catches them before the first payment.
- Know your whole software bill. Pull every vendor into one view with a spend analysis template, then look at the tools with the fastest growth.
Bottom line. Start on Bronze or Silver, pay yearly once the forms are in steady use, and move to Gold only when HIPAA or volume demands it. Before each renewal, check peak submissions and look for duplicate accounts across teams.

How much does Jotform cost per month?
Jotform Bronze costs USD 34 per month billed annually or USD 39 monthly, Silver USD 39 or USD 49, and Gold USD 99 or USD 129. Each price covers one account with account-wide monthly limits on forms, submissions, views and storage. Enterprise is priced by quote.
Is there a free version of Jotform?
Yes. The Starter plan is free with no time limit, but it caps you at 5 forms, 100 submissions and 10,000 form views a month, 100 MB of storage and 10 payment submissions. It suits testing or very light use.
How much is Jotform Enterprise?
Jotform does not publish Enterprise pricing. Sales quotes it. Enterprise removes the form, submission and storage caps and adds multi-user administration. Nonprofit and education buyers can get 30 percent off Enterprise, according to Jotform's pricing page.
Can you get a discount on Jotform?
Yes. Eligible nonprofits and educational institutions get 50 percent off Bronze, Silver and Gold and 30 percent off Enterprise. Annual billing is also cheaper than monthly, and Jotform says it runs seasonal promotions at different times of the year.
Is Jotform cheaper billed annually?
Yes. Bronze drops from USD 39 to USD 34 per month, Silver from USD 49 to USD 39 and Gold from USD 129 to USD 99 on annual billing. On Gold that saves USD 360 a year per account, which adds up if several teams hold their own accounts.
What is the cheapest alternative to Jotform?
