Pricing guide, Backend as a Service
Every Supabase plan in plain numbers, how compute and extra projects drive the bill, and why Team costs 24 times Pro.
The short answer
Supabase Pro costs from USD 25 a month and Team from USD 599, with a free plan and custom Enterprise pricing. Each paid plan includes USD 10 of compute credit, enough for one Micro instance. One organization pays USD 300 a year on Pro with one project, or USD 8,028 on Team with a Medium production database and two dev projects.

Supabase looks like a USD 25 product, and for a single small app it is. The bill grows through three things the headline price hides: the compute size of each project, every extra project you spin up for staging or clients, and usage like egress and monthly active users once you pass the included quotas.
This guide walks through each plan and add-on with prices checked against Supabase's official pricing page.
Prices below were recorded on 12 October 2026. The headline figure is the lowest price you can get for that plan. Check the official page before you buy, because vendors change prices without notice.

How billing works
Supabase bills each organization a monthly plan fee and adds compute for every project, billed hourly. Paid plans include USD 10 a month in compute credits, which covers one Micro instance, and each additional project starts at USD 10 a month. Usage beyond the included quotas is billed per unit, such as USD 0.09 per GB of egress, USD 0.125 per GB of disk and USD 0.00325 per MAU above 100,000. A spend cap is on by default on Pro and blocks overage, so you must switch it off to scale beyond the quotas.
The tier trap
SOC 2 and ISO 27001 reports, dashboard SSO and the HIPAA add-on all start on Team at USD 599 a month, against USD 25 for Pro. The first enterprise security questionnaire often forces that roughly 24x jump.
Read this first. Pro and Team are shown as "From USD 25" and "From USD 599" a month per organization, with the first project included and additional projects from USD 10 a month in compute. The scenarios assume one organization. Compute add-ons are billed hourly, and the monthly values are the page's list figures. HIPAA add-on and Enterprise prices are not published. No dated price change was found on official sources, so the history is left out. CostBench shows a USD 1,000 median but describes its sample inconsistently (Vendr or community-reported), so no benchmark is used. Renewal terms are inferred as month to month from monthly pricing, so confirm in Supabase's terms.
Move the slider to see what each plan costs at your size. The figures use the list prices on this page and leave out tax, add-ons and any discount you negotiate.
Supabase bills per organization plus compute, so this table follows one organization from a single project to a production setup and the Team tier.
| Scenario | Cost per year | Against the headline |
|---|---|---|
| Pro with one project on Micro compute (1 organization) | USD300 | Headline price |
| Production on Medium compute plus 2 Micro dev projects (1 organization) | USD1,140 | +USD 840 |
| SOC 2 report required, so Team with the same projects (1 organization) | USD8,028 | +USD 7,728 |

Pick it if you are prototyping and can live with pausing after a week of inactivity.
Pick it if you run a production app and need daily backups, no pausing and higher quotas.
Pick it if customers or auditors require SOC 2, ISO 27001, dashboard SSO or HIPAA.
Pick it if you need an uptime SLA, custom quotas or 24/7 premium support.
Our view
Supabase Pro is strong value for a managed Postgres database with auth, storage and edge functions at USD 25 a month plus compute. Team is fair only when compliance paperwork is a hard requirement, because the jump from USD 25 to USD 599 buys certifications and access controls and not more capacity.
You may be overpaying if
You run oversized compute on projects with little traffic, keep idle staging projects running all month, or moved to Team before any customer asked for SOC 2 or HIPAA.
Check CPU and memory per project and step down a size where headroom sits unused, since compute is billed hourly.
Every running project bills compute, so remove old previews and client demos.
On Pro, the default spend cap blocks overage until you decide to pay for it.
Cached egress costs USD 0.03 per GB against USD 0.09 uncached, so serve public files through the cache or a CDN.
Buy Team when a signed customer requires SOC 2 or HIPAA, and not in advance.
Firebase, Neon and MongoDB Atlas give you real numbers before an Enterprise negotiation.

Fill in the brackets and send it about 90 days before the renewal date. It works best next to your renewal tracker.

Projects multiply: one for staging, one per client, one for every preview. Each bills compute by the hour, and the cost shows up only on the next invoice.
Bottom line. Start on Pro, size compute to real load, and keep the spend cap on until you have a reason to remove it. Move to Team only when a customer or auditor asks for SOC 2 or HIPAA.
Supabase Pro starts at USD 25 a month and Team at USD 599 a month per organization, and both include USD 10 of monthly compute credit. Extra projects start at USD 10 a month in compute, and usage above the included quotas is billed per unit.
Yes. The Free plan includes 2 active projects, a 500 MB database, 1 GB of file storage, 5 GB of egress and 50,000 monthly active users. Free projects pause after one week of inactivity and have no backups.
Supabase does not publish Enterprise pricing, and it is quoted by sales. Enterprise adds an uptime SLA, a designated support manager, 24/7 premium support, 90-day log retention and custom quotas.
Supabase publishes no annual discount or standing promotion. Savings come from right-sizing compute, shutting down idle projects and caching egress. Larger buyers can negotiate committed spend and volume pricing on Enterprise.
Supabase's pricing page shows monthly prices only and no annual discount. Compute matters more than billing terms: a Medium instance costs USD 60 a month against USD 10 for Micro, so sizing each project to real load is the bigger saving.
Neon's Launch plan has no monthly minimum and bills USD 0.106 per compute hour, and Firebase's Blaze plan charges only for usage beyond its free quotas. MongoDB Atlas Flex starts at USD 8 a month if a document database fits.
