Pricing guide, Frontend Cloud Platform
Every Vercel plan in plain numbers, how usage bills after the monthly credit, and what a 10-developer team pays with SSO.
The short answer
Vercel Pro costs USD 20 per deploying seat per month and includes USD 20 of monthly usage credit, with free viewer seats, a free Hobby plan for personal use and custom Enterprise pricing. A 10-developer team pays USD 2,400 a year on Pro, or USD 6,000 once SAML SSO is added at USD 300 a month.

Vercel's sticker price is simple: USD 20 a month per developer who deploys. The real bill is built from three layers on top of that. Usage across data transfer, functions and builds once the monthly credit is spent, paid add-ons like SSO and observability, and the move to Enterprise when security or scale demands it.
This guide prices each layer with figures checked against Vercel's official pricing page and plan documentation.
Prices below were recorded on 12 October 2026. The headline figure is the lowest price you can get for that plan. Check the official page before you buy, because vendors change prices without notice.

How billing works
Vercel Pro is billed monthly. A USD 20 platform fee covers one deploying seat and USD 20 of usage credit, and each extra Owner or Member seat costs USD 20 a month. Viewer seats are free. The credit applies across infrastructure usage and expires at month end, and after it is spent, usage is billed on demand, such as from USD 0.15 per GB of Fast Data Transfer and USD 0.60 per million function invocations. New teams get spend notifications at USD 200 a month by default and can choose to pause projects when a set amount is reached.
The tier trap
SAML SSO is a USD 300 a month add-on on Pro and included on Enterprise. For a 10-developer team that add-on alone is 150% of the seat bill, which is often the point where an Enterprise quote is worth requesting.
Read this first. Pro is a USD 20 monthly platform fee that includes 1 deploying seat and USD 20 of usage credit, and each extra deploying seat is USD 20 a month (Vercel Pro plan docs). The pricing page lists 10M CDN requests on Pro, while the docs describe the included Flat Rate CDN tier as 1M requests and 1 TB, so request counts are left off the plan card. Overage rates are "from" prices that vary by region, and the third scenario uses USD 0.15 per GB and ignores the USD 20 credit. The benchmark is from Vendr's marketplace page (last updated February 2026). The Spendflo URL is a vendor profile page with a pricing overview, not a dedicated pricing guide.
Move the slider to see what each plan costs at your size. The figures use the list prices on this page and leave out tax, add-ons and any discount you negotiate.
Ten deploying seats shows what SAML SSO and extra data transfer add to the Pro seat base.
| Scenario | Cost per year | Against the headline |
|---|---|---|
| Pro, 10 deploying seats (10 developers) | USD2,400 | Headline price |
| Security requires SAML SSO at USD 300 a month (10 developers) | USD6,000 | +USD 3,600 |
| SSO plus 1 TB a month of extra data transfer at USD 0.15 per GB (10 developers) | USD7,800 | +USD 5,400 |

Our view
Vercel Pro is good value for teams shipping Next.js and other frontend apps, because the seat price is low and free viewer seats keep reviewers off the bill. It gets expensive at scale through usage and add-ons, and Vendr data shows enterprise contracts typically run well into five figures a year.
You may be overpaying if
You pay deploying seats for people who only review previews, run heavy traffic without a spend limit, or pay USD 300 a month for SSO on a team small enough to manage access another way.
Move designers, product managers and reviewers to viewer seats, which are free on Pro.
Configure spend management alerts and the pause action so usage spikes cannot run unchecked.
Vercel alerts at 75% of the USD 20 credit, so check which projects drive usage before it runs out.
Caching and image optimization cut data transfer and function time, the biggest usage lines.
If you need SSO, HIPAA and observability together, price the add-on total against an Enterprise quote.
Vendr reports buyers save 21% on average, so bring usage data and a Netlify or Cloudflare quote.
What other buyers report
Vendr reports buyers pay a median of USD 52,825 a year for Vercel, with deals ranging from USD 25,000 to USD 115,412 across 71 purchases and average savings of 21% (February 2026). Source

Hosting usage grows with traffic and with every new project. The seat count is easy to read, but the usage line moves each month without a renewal to prompt a review.
Bottom line. Pro is the right default for commercial frontend work. Keep deploying seats for people who actually ship, put everyone else on free viewer seats, and set a spend limit on day one. Compare add-on totals with an Enterprise quote once SSO is required.
Vercel Pro costs USD 20 per deploying seat per month. The USD 20 platform fee includes one deploying seat and USD 20 of usage credit, each extra Owner or Member seat is USD 20 a month, and read-only viewer seats are free.
Yes, for personal projects. The Hobby plan is free with capped usage, including 100 GB of Fast Data Transfer and 1 million function invocations a month, but it is restricted to non-commercial, personal use. Commercial sites need Pro.
Vercel does not publish Enterprise pricing. Vendr reports a median of USD 52,825 a year across 71 purchases, with deals from USD 25,000 to USD 115,412. Enterprise adds SLAs, isolated builds, directory sync, audit logs and included SAML SSO.
Vercel publishes no annual or promotional discount for Pro. Enterprise buyers negotiate, and Vendr reports average savings of 21%. On Pro, savings come from free viewer seats, spend limits and caching that cuts usage.
Vercel bills Pro monthly and publishes no annual discount. A 10-developer team pays USD 2,400 a year on Pro either way, so the levers are seat count, usage and add-ons, or a committed Enterprise contract.
Cloudflare Workers Paid starts at USD 5 a month with 10 million requests and no bandwidth charges, and DigitalOcean App Platform starts at USD 5 a month for a container. Netlify Pro is USD 20 a month with unlimited members.
