Sentry's plan prices are low, and every paid plan includes unlimited users. The bill that finance sees depends on how many errors, spans, replays and logs your apps send, because each is metered on its own.
This guide covers each plan from the Sentry pricing page and shows how usage can turn a USD 26 plan into a much bigger line item.
Prices below were recorded on 21 September 2026. The headline figure is the lowest price you can get for that plan. Check the official page before you buy, because vendors change prices without notice.

How billing works
Sentry charges a flat plan fee with unlimited users on Team and Business, then meters errors, spans, replays, logs and attachments separately. Use above each included quota is billed as you go. On Team, for example, errors in the 50K to 100K tier cost USD 0.0003625 each, extra logs and metrics cost USD 0.50 per GB, and profiling is billed by the hour. The Seer AI debugging agent is an optional add-on billed on top of the plan.
The tier trap
SAML and SCIM start on Business. A company that requires SSO through its identity provider pays USD 80 instead of USD 26 a month for the same event quotas.
Read this first. The monthly prices (USD 29 for Team and USD 89 for Business) and the Seer price (USD 40 per active contributor) come from a 2026 Middleware article, not from Sentry's page, which shows annual prices only. The 14 day trial length comes from the page description. Sentry does not charge per user, so the scenarios use 50,000 errors a month as the unit.

Our view
Sentry is strong value for teams that fix errors quickly, since Team costs less than one seat of many other tools and includes unlimited users. The risk is usage. Without spike protection and quotas, overages across five meters can pass the plan fee.
You may be overpaying if
You send every error, span and replay without sampling, you are on Business only for dashboards, or you pay for Seer for contributors who rarely open issues.

Is there a free version of Sentry?
Yes. The Developer plan is free for one user and includes 5,000 errors, 5M spans, 50 session replays, 5GB of logs and metrics, and one uptime and one cron monitor a month, with 30 days of data retention.
How much is Sentry Enterprise?
Sentry does not publish Enterprise prices. They are negotiated with sales. Enterprise adds custom volumes, dedicated support and custom terms. Most teams can stay on Team or Business and keep Enterprise for very high event volume or strict contract needs.
How much do Sentry overages cost?
It depends on the category and volume tier. On Team, errors between 50,000 and 100,000 cost USD 0.0003625 each, so 50,000 extra errors add about USD 18 a month. Extra logs and metrics cost USD 0.50 per GB, and profiling is billed by the hour.
Is Sentry cheaper billed annually?
Yes. Annual billing lowers Team from USD 29 to USD 26 a month and Business from USD 89 to USD 80, about 10 percent. For Business that is USD 108 a year. Bigger savings usually come from controlling event volume.
What is the cheapest alternative to Sentry?
