Postman changed its pricing in March 2026, and the Free plan that many teams relied on is now limited to 1 user. For teams that shared collections for free, that turned Postman into a real line item.

This guide covers the Free, Solo, Team and Enterprise plans, the usage charges around them and how to keep seat counts honest, using Postman's official pricing page.

Prices below were recorded on 21 September 2026. The headline figure is the lowest price you can get for that plan. Check the official page before you buy, because vendors change prices without notice.

Read this first. The Team monthly-billing price is not shown in readable form on the official page (only "save up to 25%"), so we do not list one. A competitor, Apidog, lists Enterprise at USD 49 per user per month annually, but Postman's page says contact sales, so we kept it as custom. The March 2026 change and the old Basic and Professional prices come from Apidog's blog, so confirm them with a neutral source. We did not fetch the Bruno and Hoppscotch pages, and the Simple Security add-on price was not published.

How to pay less for Postman

1. Review Auto-Flex

   Check which users Auto-Flex added before each billing cycle closes, and remove anyone who does not need a seat.

2. Use free viewers

   Team includes unlimited workspace viewers, so product managers and QA reviewers who only read collections do not need paid seats.

3. Commit annually

   Postman advertises savings of up to 25 percent on annual billing. Solo is USD 9 instead of USD 12 per month.

4. Cap AI credit usage

   Set expectations for Postbot and agent use so overages at USD 0.04 per credit do not become a standing cost.

5. Move light users to free tools

   Developers who only send requests can use Insomnia's free Essentials plan or Bruno, which reduces Team seats.

6. Negotiate Enterprise term

   Enterprise is quoted, so bring seat counts, usage data and Insomnia Pro pricing to the negotiation.

• Set budgets and alerts. Usage bills grow without anyone signing anything. Set a monthly budget and an alert at 80 percent of it.
