Pricing guide, HR, IT and Finance Platform
How Rippling quotes are built, what buyers report paying per employee, and the fees that sit outside the subscription.
The short answer
Rippling is quote-only: you pay per employee per month for the required platform plus each HR, IT or finance module. Vendr reports a platform price of about USD 8 per employee and USD 15 to USD 35 for teams of 10 to 50, so a 50-person company should budget roughly USD 9,000 to USD 21,000 a year before implementation.

Rippling sells a single platform with HR, IT and finance products layered on top, and it does not publish prices for any of them. Every quote is built from the modules you pick and your headcount, so two companies of the same size can pay very different amounts.
This guide explains how Rippling's pricing works from its official pricing page, and uses Vendr's buyer data to show what companies report paying. Every dollar figure here is a third-party estimate.
Prices below were recorded on 12 October 2026. The headline figure is the lowest price you can get for that plan. Check the official page before you buy, because vendors change prices without notice.

How billing works
Rippling's pricing page says most products are billed per employee per month, and some carry or include a monthly base fee. The Rippling Platform is required, HR, IT and finance products are added on top, and global payroll, employer of record and contractor products are sold separately. Quotes depend on headcount (employees plus contractors) and the modules chosen, so the price rises at renewal whenever you add people or products. Third-party sources report annual contracts and one-off implementation fees.
The tier trap
There is no package price to compare. Every HR, IT or finance product is another per-employee line on top of the required platform, and buying three or four modules for a 50-person company can multiply the entry estimate several times over.
Read this first. Rippling publishes no prices, and its pricing page only offers a custom quote. All dollar figures are third-party estimates from Vendr's Rippling buyer guide (updated February 2026): Core about USD 8 per employee per month, modules USD 4 to USD 12 each, USD 15 to USD 35 per employee for 10 to 50 employees, implementation USD 2,000 to USD 15,000 or more, and a median contract of USD 45,645 across 289 purchases. Vendr labels USD 45,645 as both median and average, and CostBench (citing Vendr) shows a USD 39,317 median across 241 purchases. Some third parties cite a USD 35 to USD 40 monthly base fee, which is not confirmed and is left out. Scenario costs are estimates.
Move the slider to see what each plan costs at your size. The figures use the list prices on this page and leave out tax, add-ons and any discount you negotiate.
Rippling publishes no rates, so this table uses Vendr's reported ranges for 50 employees. Treat it as a planning range, not a quote.
| Scenario | Cost per year | Against the headline |
|---|---|---|
| Platform only at Vendr's about USD 8 per employee (50 employees) | About USD 4,800 (estimate) | Entry estimate |
| Platform plus HR, payroll and benefits at USD 15 to USD 35 per employee (50 employees) | About USD 9,000 to USD 21,000 (estimate) | +USD 4,200 to USD 16,200 |
| First-year implementation fee | USD2,000 to USD 15,000+ one-off (estimate) | One-time, on top |

Features we could not place by plan: Required for every customer, Workflow Studio, analytics, policies and permissions, HRIS, payroll and benefits, Time, scheduling, recruiting and performance, Identity and access management, Device and inventory management, Expense management and corporate cards, Bill pay and travel. Check the official page for which plan includes each one.
Pick it if you only need a single employee system of record with workflows and integrations.
Pick it if you want payroll, benefits and HR in one place with your employee data.
Pick it if you want new hires' accounts and devices set up automatically from HR data.
Pick it if you want cards, expenses and bill pay tied to employee records.
Our view
Rippling is worth it when you will actually use several modules, because the value comes from HR, IT and finance sharing one employee record. For a company that only needs payroll, the per-module model usually costs more than payroll-only tools with published prices.
You may be overpaying if
You bought IT or finance modules that nobody configured, you pay for contractors you no longer use, or you accepted a renewal uplift without re-quoting against Gusto or BambooHR.
Buy only what you will roll out in year one. You can add products later.
Vendr reports 15% to 25% discounts for multi-year deals and an extra 5% to 10% for annual prepayment.
Vendr reports 10% to 20% volume discounts above 100 to 200 employees.
CostBench reports buyers have negotiated implementation fees away.
Put a cap on annual uplifts and lock per-employee rates for added headcount.
Gusto and BambooHR publish prices you can use as a benchmark.
What other buyers report
Vendr reports a median Rippling contract of USD 45,645 a year across 289 purchases, ranging from USD 5,860 to USD 186,673, with buyers saving 15% on average (February 2026). Source

Modules get bought by HR, IT and finance separately. Each lands on the same order form, and the renewal covers all of them at once.
Bottom line. Rippling earns its price when HR, IT and finance all run on it. Buy the modules you will use first, insist on locked per-employee rates and capped uplifts, and re-quote against Gusto or BambooHR before every renewal.
Rippling does not publish prices. Vendr reports the Core platform at about USD 8 per employee per month, each added module at about USD 4 to USD 12, and total costs of USD 15 to USD 35 per employee for companies with 10 to 50 employees.
No. Rippling does not offer a free plan or a published free trial. You request a demo and a custom quote based on your headcount and the products you choose. The Rippling Platform is required for every customer.
It depends on the modules. Using Vendr's ranges, the platform alone is roughly USD 4,800 a year for 50 employees, and HR, payroll and benefits together roughly USD 9,000 to USD 21,000, plus a one-off implementation fee. Get a written quote for your exact mix.
Yes. Vendr reports buyers save 15% on average, with multi-year deals at 15% to 25% off, an extra 5% to 10% for annual prepayment and volume discounts of 10% to 20% above 100 to 200 employees. Ask to waive implementation and cap renewal uplifts.
Rippling prices most products per employee per month, but third-party sources report that contracts are annual. Your order form sets the term, billing frequency and renewal terms, so confirm them before signing.
Gusto Simple costs USD 49 a month plus USD 6 per person for single-state payroll. BambooHR Core is USD 10 per employee per month, with a USD 250 monthly flat rate for 25 or fewer employees. Neither includes Rippling's IT or spend modules.
