Pricing guide, Workflow Automation
Every n8n plan in plain numbers, how execution billing differs from per-task billing, and the cost of needing SSO.
The short answer
n8n Cloud costs EUR 20 a month for Starter (2,500 executions) and EUR 50 for Pro (10,000 executions) on annual billing, or EUR 24 and EUR 60 billed monthly. Business is EUR 667 a month annually. One workspace on Pro pays EUR 600 a year, rising to EUR 8,000 when SSO and Git environments force Business.

n8n prices by workflow executions and not by users or steps, so a workflow with 30 nodes costs the same per run as one with 2. That makes it cheap for complex automations, but the bill depends on how often workflows fire and which governance features your company needs.
This guide covers n8n Cloud, the self-hosted Business plan and the free Community Edition, with prices read from n8n's official pricing page, which lists them in euros.
Prices below were recorded on 12 October 2026. The headline figure is the lowest price you can get for that plan. Check the official page before you buy, because vendors change prices without notice.

How billing works
n8n bills by workflow executions. One execution is one full run of a workflow from start to finish, however many steps it has, and sub-workflows and error workflows do not count. Every paid plan includes unlimited users, workflows and integrations, and annual billing saves about 17%. Business usage beyond the plan is billed at EUR 4,000 per extra bucket of 300,000 executions, invoiced 45 days after it occurs, and n8n does not offer pro-rata refunds when you cancel.
The tier trap
SSO, LDAP, Git version control and multiple environments all start on Business at EUR 667 a month billed annually, against EUR 50 for Pro. Business is also self-hosted only, so you take on hosting and upkeep at the same time.
Read this first. n8n's official pricing page lists prices in euros only, with no USD list price, so every price on this page is shown in EUR. Monthly prices (Starter EUR 24, Pro 10K EUR 60, Pro 50K EUR 145, Business EUR 800) and annual totals (EUR 240, 600, 1,450 and 8,000) were read from the plan data embedded in the official page, because the visible cards show only the annual per-month figures (EUR 20, 50, 667). Business is listed as self-hosted only with a cloud waitlist. Starter and Pro overage prices are not published. The page also embeds a hidden Free cloud plan (50 executions, 1 user) that is not shown in the visible cards, so the free plan here means the self-hosted Community Edition. Cloud trial length is not stated. Renewal terms come from the pricing FAQ (cancellation at end of term, no pro-rata refunds), and auto-renewal wording was not checked in the terms.
Move the slider to see what each plan costs at your size. The figures use the list prices on this page and leave out tax, add-ons and any discount you negotiate.
n8n bills by execution volume and not by seat, so this table follows one workspace through monthly billing and the Business upgrade.
| Scenario | Cost per year | Against the headline |
|---|---|---|
| Pro 10K, billed annually (1 workspace) | EUR600 | Headline price |
| Pro 10K billed monthly instead (1 workspace) | EUR720 | +EUR 120 |
| SSO and Git environments required, so Business annually (1 workspace) | EUR8,000 | +EUR 7,400 |

Features we could not place by plan: Admin roles, SSO and LDAP, Environments and Git version control, External secret store and log streaming. Check the official page for which plan includes each one.
Pick it if you have engineers to run n8n on your own servers and do not need SSO or environments.
Pick it if you run a few scheduled workflows and stay under 2,500 executions a month.
Pick it if automations run in production and you need admin roles and up to 50,000 executions.
Pick it if IT requires SSO or LDAP, or you need Git-based environments, and you can self-host.
Pick it if you need cloud hosting with SSO, 200 or more concurrent executions or an SLA.
Our view
n8n is strong value for technical teams because pricing ignores workflow complexity and user count, so heavy multi-step automations cost far less per run than on task-based tools. The value drops for companies that need SSO, since the jump to Business is steep and moves you to self-hosting.
You may be overpaying if
You pay for a Pro execution tier you never come close to using, run Business only for SSO on a handful of workflows, or still pay monthly for a plan you have kept for over a year.
Annual billing saves about 17% on Starter and Pro, for example EUR 600 instead of EUR 720 a year on Pro 10K.
Check execution logs and pick the tier that covers your busiest month, not a guess.
A workflow that runs every 5 minutes uses about 8,600 executions a month on its own. Webhooks or longer intervals cut that.
It is free to run on your own servers if you can handle hosting and do not need governance features.
Companies with fewer than 20 employees can get 50% off Business.
Zapier, Make and Power Automate give you real numbers to bring to an Enterprise negotiation.

Execution counts climb with every schedule that polls too often. A single five-minute trigger can use most of a small tier by itself.
Bottom line. Start on Pro billed annually, or the Community Edition if you can self-host, and move to Business only when SSO or Git-based environments are hard requirements. Review executions every quarter so the tier matches reality.
n8n Cloud Starter costs EUR 20 a month and Pro EUR 50 a month on annual billing, or EUR 24 and EUR 60 billed monthly. Business is EUR 667 a month annually or EUR 800 monthly, and Enterprise is quoted by sales. Every plan includes unlimited users and workflows.
Yes, if you self-host. The n8n Community Edition is free to run on your own servers, so you pay only for hosting. n8n Cloud has no permanent free plan on its pricing page, but offers a trial with 1,000 executions and no credit card.
n8n does not publish Enterprise pricing, and it is quoted by sales. Enterprise adds cloud or self-hosted deployment, 200 or more concurrent executions, unlimited shared projects, external secret stores, log streaming, 365 days of insights and dedicated support with an SLA.
Yes. Annual billing saves about 17%, and companies with fewer than 20 employees can apply for the Start-up Plan, which gives 50% off Business. Enterprise buyers can negotiate execution volume and term length with sales.
Yes. Starter drops from EUR 24 to EUR 20 a month and Pro 10K from EUR 60 to EUR 50, about 17% less. For one workspace on Pro that is EUR 600 a year instead of EUR 720.
Make starts at USD 9 a month for 5,000 credits, and Zapier Professional at USD 19.99 a month billed annually for 750 tasks. For teams that can self-host, n8n's own Community Edition is free and usually the cheapest option.
