Pricing guide, AI Code Editor
Every Cursor plan in plain numbers, how on-demand usage changes the bill, and what a 25-developer team pays.
The short answer
Cursor Pro costs USD 20 a month, Pro+ USD 60 and Ultra USD 200, while Teams costs USD 40 per user per month for a Standard seat or USD 120 for a Premium seat. Hobby is free and Enterprise is quoted. A 25-developer team pays USD 12,000 a year on Teams Standard seats before on-demand usage.

Cursor's seat price is the easy part. Every plan includes a set amount of model usage, and once developers use it up, on-demand usage keeps them working at API rates, billed after the fact. For a team that leans on agents, the usage line can rival the seat line.
This guide prices every Cursor plan from the official pricing page and Cursor's docs, then shows what a real development team pays.
Prices below were recorded on 12 October 2026. The headline figure is the lowest price you can get for that plan. Check the official page before you buy, because vendors change prices without notice.

How billing works
Each paid seat includes usage across two pools, Cursor Models and Other Models, which resets each billing cycle and does not transfer between team members. After included usage runs out, on-demand usage continues at API rates and is billed monthly in arrears, and on Teams it is enabled by default. Third-party models on Teams on-demand are billed at public API list prices plus a Cursor Token Rate of USD 0.25 per million tokens. Self-serve plans are paid by card, and invoice or wire billing requires Enterprise.
The tier trap
Teams has no pooled usage and no per-member spend limits, and on-demand usage is on by default. One heavy agent user can run up a large bill, and the controls that stop it start on Enterprise.
Read this first. Monthly prices (Pro USD 20, Pro+ USD 60, Ultra USD 200, Teams USD 40 Standard and USD 120 Premium) were read on cursor.com/pricing and Cursor Docs on 12 October 2026. The official page has a yearly toggle but shows no yearly figures in text, so the annual Pro (USD 16) and Pro+ (USD 48) prices come from AICodeReview (February 2026) and need confirming. The Teams annual price is unverified (one unread report says USD 32), so it is shown as not available. Included usage dollar amounts are not published on the official page. Hobby limits and the one-week Pro trial are third-party only. The standalone Bugbot price (USD 40 per user, third-party) is not on the official page and is not used. The on-demand scenario uses an illustrative USD 25 per developer per month.

Pick it if you are trying Cursor and limited Agent requests are enough.
Pick it if you are one developer using agents and frontier models every day.
Pick it if you keep exhausting the Pro allowance and want more usage at a fixed price.
Pick it if the company pays and needs SSO, central billing and privacy mode enforcement.
Pick it if you need pooled usage, per-member spend limits, SCIM or invoice billing.
Our view
Cursor Pro is good value for a developer who codes with AI daily, and Teams at USD 40 is reasonable once SSO and central billing matter. The risk is usage. Without spend limits, on-demand charges and Premium seats can push the real cost well past the seat price.
You may be overpaying if
On-demand usage runs with no limit, Premium seats go to developers who rarely hit the Standard allowance, or developers expense personal Pro+ or Ultra plans on top of company Teams seats.
Cap on-demand usage per user on Teams before rollout, since it is on by default.
Start everyone on Standard and upgrade only developers who repeatedly exhaust it.
First-party Cursor models avoid the USD 0.25 per million token rate charged on third-party models.
Third-party guides report about 20% off annual billing on Pro and Pro+.
Cursor routes volume discounts through enterprise@cursor.com, so bring seat counts and usage history.
GitHub Copilot Business at USD 19 per seat gives you a credible counter-offer.
What other buyers report
SpendHound reports companies with 50 to 1,000 employees spend an average of USD 26,577 a year on Cursor, and enterprises USD 171,086 (October 2026). Source

Developers adopt editors on their own, and usage-based charges arrive after the month ends. The seat count and the on-demand spend need separate owners.
Bottom line. Put developers on Teams Standard seats, set on-demand limits before rollout, and reserve Premium seats for people who prove they need them. Move to Enterprise when pooled usage, SCIM or invoice billing become requirements.
Cursor Pro costs USD 20 a month, Pro+ USD 60 and Ultra USD 200 for individuals. Teams costs USD 40 per user per month for a Standard seat or USD 120 for a Premium seat with 5x the Agent usage. Enterprise is priced by sales.
Yes. Cursor Hobby is free with no credit card and includes limited Agent requests and access to Composer. Third-party guides report new users also get a one-week Pro trial. Paid plans add frontier models and larger usage allowances.
Cursor Teams costs USD 40 per user per month for a Standard seat and USD 120 for a Premium seat. It adds SAML and OIDC SSO, central billing, usage analytics and team privacy mode. On-demand usage is on by default and billed in arrears.
You can keep working with on-demand usage, billed monthly in arrears at API rates without slower or lower-quality requests. On Teams, third-party models add a USD 0.25 per million token Cursor Token Rate. Spending limits cap the bill.
Cursor offers yearly billing, and third-party guides report about 20% off: Pro at USD 16 a month instead of USD 20 and Pro+ at USD 48 instead of USD 60. The official page did not show yearly figures when checked, so confirm at checkout.
GitHub Copilot Pro costs USD 10 a month and Copilot Business USD 19 per seat, about half of Cursor Pro and Teams. Copilot Free offers 2,000 completions and 50 chat requests a month at no cost.
