1Password is one of the most common password managers in business, and its pricing is simple: a flat pack for small teams, Business per user and Enterprise by quote. The decision is mostly about when identity integration forces the upgrade.
This guide prices every business plan from 1Password's official pricing page.
Prices below were recorded on 21 September 2026. The headline figure is the lowest price you can get for that plan. Check the official page before you buy, because vendors change prices without notice.

How billing works
The Teams Starter Pack is a flat USD 24.95 a month on annual billing (USD 299.40 a year) for 10 members, with extra seats at USD 4.99 per month up to a hard cap of 20 users. Business costs USD 8.99 per user per month on annual billing (USD 107.88 per user per year) with no minimum. Personalized training and a dedicated Customer Success Manager come only with Business accounts of 101 or more users. Payment is by card or ACH, and Business can also be bought through AWS Marketplace.
The tier trap
The Starter Pack has no SSO or SCIM and stops at 20 users. The moment IT wants provisioning from Okta or Entra ID, every user moves to Business at USD 8.99 per user.
Read this first. The Business monthly-billing price is not shown, so we list none. Enterprise features beyond Business are not detailed on the page. The NordPass price comes from G2, not NordPass's own site, and the Keeper range comes from Vendr because Keeper's page showed no prices.

1Password Business is fair value at USD 8.99 per user for companies that need SSO and SCIM, and the Starter Pack is one of the cheapest ways for a small team to share credentials properly. Price-sensitive buyers can find cheaper managers with similar core features.

You are on Business but do not use SSO, SCIM or reporting, you pay for leavers who were never offboarded, or you are a team under 20 on Business without an identity requirement.

Keeping 1Password spend under control
Security tools have a quiet failure mode. Offboarding removes the laptop and the email but leaves the password manager seat, which keeps billing and keeps access alive.
- Ask for the security documents up front. Request the security report, the data processing terms and the insurance certificate before you sign. See supplier onboarding.
- Score the vendor on risk, not only on price. A cheap tool with weak controls costs more after an incident. Use a vendor risk assessment template.
- Watch the renewal date. Security tools are often bought on multi-year terms. Put the notice date in a renewal tracker.
- Check the licence metric. Seats, devices and endpoints are counted differently by each vendor. Confirm which one you are paying for.
Bottom line. Stay on the Starter Pack while you are small, move to Business when SSO or SCIM becomes a requirement, and reconcile seats with your HR list before every renewal.
